I design human-centered solutions for real world problems

For the last several years, I have worked as a Library Associate with the underprivileged and marginalized community of Kansas City, Kansas. Every day I was thanked profusely by individuals I helped in our computer lab. These are people left behind in the digital divide. So, assisting someone with something like creating their first email account could be life-changing. These experiences are the root of my passion for advocacy and human-centered design. I have been looking to make a difference ever since.

Giving communities and individuals a seat at the table through research, mapping out experiences, accessible spaces, and interviewing actual users allows me to truly understand people and advocate for those who don’t even know they are excluded.

I am happy to have found purpose in my passion for learning, visual thinking, and artistic design and a place to collaborate with other like-minded individuals. I enjoy sketching out wireframes and bringing them to life with high-fidelity prototypes. I am at my best when working with people to solve problems with ideas we can turn into a complete and all-inclusive product.

I am looking for new opportunities to use my design and research skills to solve problems and keep learning. So let’s design great things together!

I got Link shortly before I started my design career. He has been invaluable even though he is one year old. He has excellent attention to detail and great interpersonal skills.

Moxxie has been here much longer. She has a great idea of work-life balance. Making sure I don't overwork, by forceful cuddles if necessary. She keeps me and my team grounded.

My special support staff

You may have wondered who the other characters featured on my site are. Since they are a big part of my life, I have decided to put a short bio about both of my favorite team members. Don't worry, they are paid with love and treats.
